Rev. J.E. McCall is listed as an attendee hailing from the “Bluffton Ct.” of the eighth session of the Fort Smith District conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church South, convened in Booneville, Arkansas on 27 Jul 1877. Others listed included a “Rev. W. L. Buford” and a “Rev. J.L. Keener”. (perhaps his kids middle names came from these two individuals?)

Iwas actually looking for the MCcall family from Charleston S.C.The McCall family they spoke about was more from Ireland and Pensylvania. It was a little bit helpful knowing there were some McCall’s in Pensylvania. My grandparents lived there for awhile. If you could find a little more information about the McCall’s in The south I’d appreciate it.
