Daniel (1845-1925) and Elisabeth (1846-1911) Zimmerman – Family Photo
I’ve really just begun research on the Zimmerman side of my family. The eldest son of Daniel and Elizabeth (Schnelbach) Zimmerman is my Great-Great Grandfather. While doing some research of their family with my new membership to Ancestry.com, I discovered what looks to be a newspaper article that includes a picture of the couple. I touched up the image and thought I’d share it.
One of the interesting things to note is the spelling of their last name as “Zimermann”, with one first “m” and two second “n”s. This is the first I’ve seen of this spelling. Perhaps it’s the German version?
