The iGenealogy blog is about sharing genealogy, plain and simple. This blog was started by me (Brad McCall) because of my interest in family genealogy and using one of the most powerful mediums in the world to gather information and connect with distant relatives. I have recently added a friend (Abraham Alonso) to the list of authors on igenealogy.org, who shares this interest in Genealogy. The Internet has changed genealogy, that’s for sure. I remember trying to feed my interest in genealogy 15 years ago, and found it very tedious, difficult and a bit of a lonely hobby. Since involving the Internet, I have shared research, swapped tips and family stories with other Internet friends, and enlivened my interest in genealogy.
I’ll be sharing information I’ve gathered about my family with the intent of connecting with other family members who might have more to share, or who can benefit from my research. Feel free to comment on any post where available, or email me directly.
